The Steady Cam.

Everybody knows the small portable video camera's nowadays, very handy, fast and with a great resolution, one could shoot a movie with it....!! It's all digital and ready to view.

How different material we used to see on the filmsets in my time, there's the 'fast' trolleys on rail or the high tech positioned camera's on huge cranes like fire trucks...

 (Sometimes just to transport the crew...)

...and the high tech stuff.

But one of the funniest camera's to see  no doubt is the Steady Cam. This outfit  has a construction that fits the cameraman's body, and moves around in
3 D...  and demps moves.........!

It needs a clean set however, everybody not involved with the shot has to duck or hide. Better don't walk around with a cuppa coffee (or a Joint..!)...
